Scope
TACT was assigned to undertake the detailed engineering design of all major and minor highway structures for the 39.5 km Fiyel Wuha–Tekeze River design-and-build road project in Tigrai Regional State. The scope specifically included the design of the major 152 m steel truss bridge crossing the Tekeze River.
Approach
Structural Analysis
Performed detailed statical calculations and analytical strength evaluations for existing bridges to be retained along the route.

Delivered technical reports at key milestones, including the Structure Type Selection Report and Detailed Engineering Design Report.

Design Packages
Delivered complete sets of detailed design drawings, construction working drawings, and manufacturing shop drawings for minor structures (slab and box culverts).
