Scope
The project covers the design and construction supervision of the Mazabuka Toll Plaza, located between km 49 and 50 on the T1 highway in Zambia’s Southern Province, as part of the Kazungula Bridge Project Package 4.
Approach
Site Selection
Conducted site assessments to select a location optimizing sight distance, stopping distance, and flat terrain while keeping within 30 km of local banking infrastructure.
Environmental Oversight
Monitored implementation of Resettlement Action Plans and Environmental & Social Management Strategies.
Outcome
Plaza Delivery
Supervised day-to-day construction works, certified contractor payments, administered claims, and processed design modifications for a fully operational toll plaza facility.
